About this film
A Dream Loop (often referred to as a "False Awakening Loop") is a psychological phenomenon where a person experiences a series of vivid dreams in which they believe they have woken up, only to realize they are still dreaming. This cycle can repeat multiple times within a single sleep episode. Key Characteristics False Awakenings: The dreamer "wakes up" in a familiar environment, such as their bedroom, and begins a mundane morning routine (brushing teeth, checking a phone) before a surreal element reveals they are still asleep. Hyper-Realism: These dreams are often indistinguishable from reality, incorporating precise sensory details like the texture of a blanket or the specific lighting of a room. Emotional Intensity: Because the dreamer feels "trapped" in a cycle of waking up and failing to reach actual consciousness, these loops can trigger feelings of confusion, anxiety, or claustrophobia.
